Getting Started
- For examples, see the "Hello World!" of each mbed Library Interface, or visit the Cookbook
mbed Library Interfaces
The mbed Library supports a range of interfaces to control the mbed Microcontroller hardware:
- LocalFileSystem - Access to the mbed USB Disk using fopen, fprintf, fread, etc
- USB Serial - Communicate between an mbed Microcontroller and a PC
mbed also supports the standard C libraries such as stdio (e.g. printf, scanf) and time (see details of the RTC implementation)
mbed Microcontroller Hardware
Information specific to the different mbed Microcontrollers, including pinouts and schematics, can be found on the individual microcontroller pages below.
- mbed NXP LPC1768 (a.k.a the new Cortex-M3 mbed Microcontroller)
- mbed NXP LPC2368 (a.k.a the original ARM7 "mbed Microcontroller" used during the beta)
- Firmware - Updates for the mbed Microcontroller firmware
