If you are a stockist of mbed Microcontrollers and would like to be added to our orders page - please email a link of your product page to contact@mbed.org¶
We've just been refreshing our distributor page. You're correct you can purchase the mbed LPC11U24 from Cool Components. I've added the link back up.
Thanks

Hi Robbie
Cool Components will ship globally. Shipping is relatively cheap and is insured / trackable.

Is there a method to purchase these in bulk without all of the packaging and USB connectors? We will be using these in a slightly higher volume and would like to purchase more, with less, for less.
Thanks for your time.

In general we sell via our distributors, many of who give some volume discount for moderate quantities. But feel free to give us an email at support@mbed.org with the sort of numbers you are thinking to discuss the best options.

Why would someone choose the LPC11U24 version over the LPC1768 version?
Digikey (for instance) sells the LPC11U24 for 64.29 CAD and LPC1768 for 69.50 CAD. What gives?

Better battery performance, non Ethernet (If not using), smaller footprint of the actual chip, etc.
I use it for smaller applications, where size must be small.

I think the LPC11U24 mbed at $64 is a hard sell when the LPC1768 mbed is 70$ at digikey.
I do realize that the other sources have it for a lower price, I was just curious why digikey has them at almost the same price point.
