Hi, affter flashing the new STM32f4-discovery. why I should remove the USB cable and reconnect to PC for the programm executed

hi, i have got a problem. Stm32f4 does not work when I remove the usb cable and feed it from the external power supply after programming. But I need to reconnect the USB cable to the computer. How can I solve this problem? I'm happy if you help me. Thank you.
