Interesting Conversation about delivery times with Rapid.

Just thought I'd mention this.

Placed an Order last Tuesday, 63 GBP with Rapid.

Not turned up yet, contacted Rapid.

and they told me about their actual delivery policy.

Free Delivery over 35GBP is ALWAYS First Class post (upto 35kg)

it has to be over 60 GBP (net) to be traceable/courier.

(you can always pay to upgrade to courier of course)

They have no way of tracking first class post, but the important bit..

They will not consider a missing order of concern until..

3 weeks (15 working days) have passed from the despatch date.

So they will not investigate my order further at the mo...

So.. I'm now waiting another two weeks before they'll look at it,

To be fair, they did helpfully tell me I could always re-order it today and pay for the delivery upgrade, and then I'd def get it tomorrow, but they would obviously charge me again, and then think about a refund in 2 weeks time. (and yes.. I would have to pay the delivery upgrade)

Anyway.. I spose its not unreasonable behaviour, as long as you know the risk up front, and that you'll have to wait 3 weeks if there is any problem, unless you pay for the next day delivery upgrade.

as I say.. just mentioning it in passing.. you might want to consider 60 GBP the free delivery threshold, not 35 GBP.
