mbed hangs on fast serial input

If you do very fast serial input from a computer to an mbed setting its pins repeatedly, the mbed will hang. Unknown cause.

Hi,..

I've had my mbed receiving plenty of serial without hanging.

Is it possible for you to share your code ?

Do you have interrupts firing on the input ? Maybe you have interrupt overrun or something ?

Anyway.. if it's possible for you to share a little bit more, I'm sure everyone here (including me) could make some suggestions.
