Hello all, I have made a binary clock by multiplexing leds, that part works great! However, I'm trying to get a servo to ring a bell at the hour (a warm touch). I have loaded the Servo library, and played around with Pwmout (at around 20ms pulses). I cannot get the servo to move at all. I have tried three different servos. All servos were getting an isolated 6 volts of power. The servos DO work, I am connecting the input pin of the servo directly to the output pin of the mbed (p21, p22, etc.). just plane dead.. What am I missing? Thanks!
You should just try to connect the servo to the power out of the mbed.
If you are using external power make sure that you have a common ground and that the ground of the mbed is connected to the ground of the external power supply.
