I had a trailing space (or newline... not really sure) in a pasted url and it kept the import button from activating. In addition to ignoring trailing whitespace, you should probably also add some additional feedback to make it more obvious when the url is considered invalid. As I had never used the import wizard like that before, frankly I initially had no idea why I couldn't click import.
