Ubuntu can't see trash

16 Mar 2011

Hi,

I've noticed that after downloading and deleting several programs my mbed starts getting full. On a windows machine I can see a folder called trash, which I can delete. Then it's clear again. On my ubuntu OS I can't see this folder. I can't seem to change any permissions on the mbed drive as well. It's a bit inconvenient to have to switch to a windows machine every time the trash folder fills up.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Regards,

Melchior

Hi,

To avoid this I always shift+del. Also, the trash folder appears as a hidden folder on Ubuntu, so if you change your view setting to show Hidden files you should see it.
