This is a dev board for the mbed module. It has a two row socket for the mbed and can be use with jumper wires. With an on board 5v regulator it can powered by external DC supply without the need of the mbed USB connection.

A suggestion: The empty space underneath the mbed (shown in the 2nd picture above) seems a bit of a waste. Maybe for the next revision you can fill the area with holes/pads to make some use of the space. The breadboard can stick on the holes anyway if the user desires to use it.

Good idea, thanks. I think I will bring more of the mbed's IO to the space and add some SMD pads.
