mbed talks to Android via ADK Open Accessory API!
Google announced that Android 3.1 added "Android Open Accessory" support and the ADK, allowing external USB hardware to interact with an Android-powered device.
Because mbed has a USB Host interface built in already, that means it can theoretically be used to prototype Android Open Accessories. And it looks like some of you are already making great progress! Check this out:

The Google - Android platform ls going to be truly massive. Looking at the videos today, there is going to be an explosion in consumer tech.
Especially as the other platform has such closed ranks !!!!!!!
How about an MBED - GOOGLE - ANDROID platform,
After all if microchip can sell a development kit for $80 / £50 The combined power of this MBED community could blow them out of the water.
I hope there are a few people out there to get the rest of us up and running.
