increase analogue sample time and reduce bit accuracy?

Hi, does anyone know if it would be possible to drop the 12 bit analogue accuracy to 8 bit to allow faster than 200Khz sample rate?

The LPC1768 has no provision for trading conversion speed against precision. If you need more speed, that will require an outboard ADC.

It seems you can read ADGR before the conversion is "officially" done, but I'm not sure if you can start a new conversion before the current one finishes. See some graphs here.
