USB Virtual Serial Port connected to a Win CE device?

Has anyone had any success using the USB Virtual Serial port feature on the mbed to talk to a Windows CE OS-based device?

They have a virtual com port driver included in CE and FTDI also has another one for their USB IC devices.

I was wondering if there was any chance if these would work if the driver was added and the registry hacked for it, or if someone might have CE drivers for mbed.

I am also interested in using an mbed with a Windows CE single-board PC. My SBC is running Win CE .net 5 - will the USB Virtual Serial Port work with this OS and how would I install the driver? Thanks!
