MODGPS problems

I'm trying to get the MODGPS library up and running.... and encountered some problems!

I'm using the example 3 code wich should flicker the mbed LEDs once a NMEA packet is received. I use the USB-SERIAL Port of mbed and send NMEA data from my desktop... the mbed USB-Serial LED flickers... so there is data received... but MODGPS seems not to work on them.

Checked baudrate etc... everything fine. My selfmade software reads the nmes without problems... so does any other proprietary software ( on my PDA for example)

Any Idea... does MODGPS not support the USB-Serial of mbed???

I did of course remove the pc serial output from the example 3 code that is intended to use just the same USB-Serial that I use for the NMEA Data....
