hi, I wonder if it is safe to connect VOUT(3.3V)(as power supply) to a RN41 bluetooth module. ty

Depends on your Vin. mbed delivers up to 800mA-self usage -> >600mA. So if your power supply delivers > 250mA, everything's fine.
