I just stumbled across a forum thread which encouraged people to introduce themselves and their projects. It was lively and interesting but seems to have died down recently.
I suspect that it had a quiet period, stopped showing up in "recent changes" and as a result new joiners never found out about it. What's the best way to re-invigorate it? I'll happily add an explanation and pointer to the thread on the front page of the cookbook, but a note on the home page or handbook might be more visible for new members.
And I guess recent joiners like me should post their introductions :)
