Conducted testing by acquiring 1000 samples continuously in a while loop.  It took 70ms to complete the acquisition which translates to a sampling frequency of 14,285Hz.  Hence, applying Shannon's theorem, the maximum signal frequency that can be sampled faithfully should be less than 7142Hz.
