Serial coms to pc checked out OK. for both windows7 and linux.

Tried both ethernet stacks and obtained good results with client, ntp, and both blinkies in both

linux and windows7. This was not easy - the mbed was easy, unbuntu and windows7 both took

several tries to get all the settings correct.
