Help Setting up.

I followed the pin connection suggested for the ILI9341 but still not manage to get the TFT to work (I used the demo example by the way). What should I do next? Why does the pin RS get connected to the sck on the mbed? I thought the WR pin should be connected to the sck on the mbed from what I read from the datasheet. Thanks.

Question relating to:

Lib for the new LCD Display with ILI9341 controller

have the same problem no luck at all.

What type of TFT are you using ? The pin names of the MikroElektronika display are for parallel use. The function change if you use the different modes. The lib use the 8 bit SPI mode. Have you setup the IM3-IM0 mode pins ?

i use proto tft. I set the tft to use in spi mode with IM0 to ground and the other IM to 3.3v.

You have to see the backlight on the side.

The old proto board use a different controller : http://mbed.org/cookbook/SPI-driven-QVGA-TFT

I got the backlight to work and nothing else shows up. By the way I use the new TFT proto board with ILI9341 driver.
