RS announce new mbed based "Synergy" boards!

We've just seen RS have announced the first in a new "Synergy" range of mbed application breakout boards!

One of the applications they have supported is a high-quality audio DAC that can connect to the mbed LPC1768's I2S port:

For the I2S, there is already a library in the cookbook to allow you to talk to the TI DAC that is on it:

This will be excellent for audio recording and playback. Maybe couple it with the new USBAudio class for a USB-DAC?!

Take a look at their webpage for more information:

Yes, USB audio class device with this I2S DAC is very interesting. I was experimented with USB audio class last weekend and succesfully. I tried to add microphone input and use ReadWrite method of Audio Class. Things went well and device get enumerated as audio out and in but I din't have any microphone to check input but my PC speakers was "squeeking" when I touched AnalogIn pin defined as input for mic. So I think I am very near.
