The Arm AIoT Dev Summit will bring together developers, data scientists, technology experts and researchers to unleash the power of IoT and AI technologies. Taking place between 2nd and 3rd December at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California, the Dev Summit is set to focus on the present and future of AIoT and how, together, we can transform the technology landscape for the better.

We are excited to announce that the agenda has been published, showcasing the workshops, tech talks, focus groups, keynotes and Birds-of-a-Feather (BoF) sessions that you can benefit from. Read on to discover what to expect from the event and sessions you don’t want to miss as an Mbed developer.

Don’t forget to register and apply the special $75 ARMMBED discount code created for you, as this is a conference build for Mbed community.

1- Workshop: TinyML Application Development for Everyone
This workshop with Sandeep Mistry, Senior Software Engineer at Arduino will introduce you to the process of deploying machine learning models to microcontrollers using Mbed OS and an Arm Cortex-M4 based Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense board. During this workshop, you will find out how to develop and train an ML model in the cloud using TensorFlow and how the ML model can be converted so that it can be run on the Arduino with real-time performance.

2- Workshop: Storing and visualising IoT data with Pelion and Mbed OS
New to IoT? We will walk you through the journey of building an IoT system in this 2 hour hands-on workshop. Using Arm Mbed and Pelion IoT Platform, we will guide you to build an IoT device, manage the device connection and credentials, and integrate it into other web services to visualise data. At the end, you will have a working IoT device and web application to take away.

3- Workshop: Building End-to-End Machine Learning Workflows with Arm
Throughout the two days, there will be a number of workshops from Arm’s developer evangelists that will showcase how to build an end-to-end intelligent workflow from the cloud to the gateway and to the endpoint device.

4- Tech Talk: Ci in IoT/Embedded: Creating a Simple, Scalable and Automated Workflow
Embedded software developers are being asked to do more and more beyond developing software - device management, test generation, application deployment (to name a few). The creation and automation of software testing and delivery, historically a dev-ops role, now often adds complexity to the developer's work. This talk aims to simplify creating, maintaining, and scaling a quality continuous integration (CI) pipeline. Both software engineers and dev-ops professionals working with IoT/embedded devices will learn realistic best-practices for CI/CD in software development.

5- Focus Groups
Do you want to meet other like-minded developers, share your experience and learn tips and tricks from them? Then, the focus groups are designed for you. Join one of the focus groups sessions during the Arm AIoT Dev Summit to share your developer experience with Arm and other developers, participate in the discussion on how to overcome the difficulties and how to make product and services enhancements in order optimize the developers’ development journey including yours.
