There are always many ongoing personal projects - but one that has had my focus in the last couple of years is to try to bring understanding of mobile solution development into the high-school classes in developing regions (starting in Latin America). I truly believe that we can make a difference for the better, if students are exposed to this before reaching university level, where many will be focusing more on leaving the region than building something up locally. WebApps - especially for mobile devices - is the perfect technology for this purpose, as it is easy to get started on, while flexible enough to give close to native app user experience.
