Using the BLE_iBeacon app in the Arch BLE board

Hi all,

I was trying to use this app to get started with the BLE in my Arch BLE platform (https://developer.mbed.org/platforms/Seeed-Arch-BLE/). Not sure if that should be expected, but when compiling it it just hangs and it exists saying that the compilation times out. Is there something wrong I am doing or this app is not supposed to just work out of the box with my platform? If that is the case, would you recommend any other way for me to get started with the BLE of the Arch BLE board? I was planning to just have an app which could send data between these devices or between the device and a smartphone (iOS preferably) or a laptop/iMac.

Hi Jose,

I've just tried compiling the BLE_iBeacon demo for the ARCH_BLE platform. It compiles for me. Could you please again?

Thanks Rohit! I just tried to compile two days ago and yesterday and it didnt work but now it worked. Is that something that happens sometimes?
