How to protect SRF05 Ultrasone sensors

Hi,

Question about product SRF05, the ultrasone distance measurement circuit.

Is it possible to measure the level of a diesel fuel tank. How should be shield the ultrasone sensors from the diesel fuel.

I don't know if an SRF05 is the best solution for measuring diesel fuel levels. But maybe it helps if you encase it completely in hot glue? At least easy to do and should protect it at least a bit against the diesel fumes.
