Then read the note near the bottom(02 Mar 2010, by Stephane Rochon) about removing the mbed driver,it will not have loaded properly. There are two driver parts to the install. If you make a mistake and cancel the second one, which you may interpret as having been started by an erroneous mouse click, then the install will NOT have completed as required.
Once the install fails with only the first part done, then normal re-installation will NOT work until the driver is removed per the note mentioned above.
The hint is in item 3 of the note.
