is support for LPC84x planned?

Is there a plan to add the LPC84x to the list of supported targets in ARM mbed OS?

I asked this same question at NXP forums, they recommended I ask here directly (see https://community.nxp.com/thread/493545)

Hi Pablo,

No - sorry, but there are no plans to support this device. The largest part in the family only has 8KB of RAM and 32KB of flash and that's too small. If you want to experiment with Mbed we suggest browsing the list of supported platforms here:

Dear Ralph,

thanks for the response.

mbed OS 2 support small targets, like the LPC812, and LPC824 which have less RAM and ROM than the e.g. LPC845 (it has 16 kB RAM and 64 kB ROM). I understand mbed OS 5 has higher memory requirements, and does not support such targets.

So allow me to make my question more specific (hoping it makes a difference): are there any plans to support the LPC84x on mbed OS 2?

Thanks for clarifying your question, but the answer is still no. No new target support for OS2 is on the road map.
