no reaction after connecting to USB

there is no reaction when I connect my LPC1768 to the USB of the PC. I do not see it as a storage drive, also in the device manger I see no mbed. What could be the reason? The connection is done well. I have installed on the PCalso the AVR ISP MKII. But also when I deinstall the Jungo driver the LPC1768 does not work. The module is ok, I tried it at another PC and there I can see it as a storage drive.

The original mbed LPC1768 should always be recognised as storage drive even without installing any (serial) driver. You say the mbed does show as storage on another PC, so the module is OK. It could be a bad cable or perhaps an issue with the USB port. Does it provide sufficient power? Is it a USB 3.0 port (blue socket) ? Does the PC recognise a regular thumb drive on that port?

Hello, I used the same cable at all three PCs, so the cable is ok. The USB ports at the PCs are also ok all my other equipment work fine. I tried also all USB ports at the PCs. Everytime the same (no) reaction.

Hi there,

Have you installed the Windows Serial Driver?

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Hello Jenny, thanks for your comment. Yes I tried, but during the installation the software reports an error : can not find the mbed. And then it stopped the installation. If I read the manual right the driver must be installed for every mbed module for its one, so the mbed must be recognized before.
