cc3000 firmware update

I download a cc3000 firmware bin file from http://mbed.org/components/Avnet-Wi-Go-System/. But when i load the bin file to my mbed,i find nothing from serial,and i do not know how to do next.

Do you get anything if you run any example for cc3000?
