XBee Firmware

Hello,

Is it possible to install the firmware on a XBee module, using mbed, without xctu and/or a computer? I mean, have the firmware file that one desires on a SD card or mbed memory and install to a mbed connected through mbed serial.

It occurred to me that if this was possible, it would be very useful for some applications, but I don't see this possibility documented anywhere.

boot EM250 bootloader, upload firmware using xmodem-1k-crc.

I asume that since this is a bootloader this is only for the programable version of the XBee?

I succeed boot EM250 bootloader on XB24-ZB.

Hello Norimasa, thank you for your answers. Could you kindly be more specific? So you say it's possible to substitute the original bootloader for this one on the non-Pro version? I see on the documentation most bootloader information regarding the Pro version. What I want to know is if I can transfer a firmware update, through serial (wired, I mean) with the help of a microcontroller and not with XCTU.
