touch panel screens

Are you likely to add support for the touch panel available for these screens ?

Hi Kim, In hindsight, I've no idea why I didn't get the unit with touch. Since I don't have that model (and nothing new on order just now), I could try to create the code - but verification might be quite a challenge. And a 4-wire resistive touchscreen will require a calibration process to improve accuracy (making is slightly more complex).

So, at the moment, I can think of two options - send me one <grin>, or from my library you could derive the code for touch and use a "pull request" which would let me see your code and integrate it into the main code base.

Kim, the RA8875 library now has preliminary support for the touch interface, thanks to Hexley Ball.

And, as of December 2014, there are methods for calibration of the touchscreen along with some other related refactoring.

Additionally, about Aug 2016, I added support for the capacitive touch panel option on the separate I2C link.
