connecting usb port "female" to mbed pins

rookie question here.

i have a female USB port that i managed to get from an old USB extension cable. /media/uploads/menski/usb_port.png i just want to verify if the white/green should go to D+ / D- of the mbed pins?

this usb port will be used for my bluetooth dongle.

i was just a bit concern how will it power the bluetooth dongle.

1 VCC 5Volts red 2 D- White 3 D+ Green 4 Gnd
