How can I use mbed in a university/school setting? / How can I share a mbed board amongst several users?

Why do you restrict the use of mbed.org to people with an mbed?

mbed.org is a site which supports working on and discussing rapid prototyping using an mbed microcontroller.

At the moment, restricting the use of the Forum to owners of an mbed means that we enjoy a high signal to noise ratio.

Legal/Licencing

Can I make commercial products using an mbed?

Yes! You are free to make and sell products that were developed using the mbed libraries.

We do not offer any guarantee for the libraries, they are there for rapid prototyping purposes, but if you wish you use them, you can. here are some examples showing how you might take a prototype to a custom design.
