Has anyone done a robot arm or biped project with mbed? I would think it should work as long as it only has 6 or less RC (PWM) servos. Some of the humaniod robots have 20 or so servos, so I guess that would be a problem. Here are some I have seen available without the control board. There are probably others I should look at, if so let me know. I have seen some toy arms and bipeds, but I was thinking of going for the ones with RC servos so that I can repair them when students kill them.
Lynxmotion also makes a great assortment of aluminum RC servo brackets and mount hardware if you ever need some. They call it the servo erector set.
