Thanks a lot! $2.50 for some sockets is more than I thought it'd be but it seems consistent.
The other places I look are sparkfun.com and pololu.com. Depending on the part they can be a lot less sometimes. As far as your need you could use the 1x20 header which is less expensive http://search.digikey.com/us/en/products/PPPC201LFBN-RC/S7053-ND/810192. When buying from digikey when they show out of stock be sure to put in your quantity and hit the request button and they will show you projected ship dates. Sometimes they are not as far out as you might think. The 1x20 part I just mentioned is out of stock today but they say they will ship tomorrow.

Awesome! Thanks so much. I'll try to order those single rows as soon as they are available! Just what I was looking for.

Hey everyone, could someone please link me some type of mounting for the mBed? It's important I get one soon. From browsing previous threads, I get:
http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?WT.z_header=search_go&lang=en&site=us&keywords=929850E-01-20-ND&x=13&y=13
and

One is out of stock. I want to have it set up on a standard breadboard where I can remove it from the circuit. Is the Mousser my only chance or is there something else the community prefers? Thanks!
