Training Course: Embedded Systems with the mbed Development Platform

Rob at RT Sixty has sent us details of a professional Embedded Systems training course running in July in the UK. It is using mbed as the core platform, and looks like a great ground-up introduction to embedded systems. If you are starting to look at using MCUs in your company, it could certainly be worth a look.

Here are the details...

Cambridge based RT Sixty Ltd have announced two professional short courses in ‘Embedded Systems with the mbed Development Platform’.

The first course will run for 4 days from Monday 12th to Thursday 15th July 2010 at the Holiday Inn, Cambridge, UK, at a cost of £1200 per delegate. This course will cover the basics of C/C++ programming implicitly whilst developing practical applications using mbed interfaces including Analogue and Digital IO, PWM, I2C and SPI, as well as discussing scheduled, asynchronous and modular programming techniques.

The second course runs for 3 days and covers more advanced topics including an introduction to digital signal processing and closed loop control.
